OUR MISSION IS TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REHOME STRAY AND SURRENDERED CATS AND KITTENS ACROSS VICTORIA.
WHETHER THEY’RE SWEET, SPICY OR SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN.
We’re based in Essendon, but we help cat-loving humans in need all around Victoria. Our specialty is rehabilitating former street cats, because gradually gaining their trust and eventually having our love reciprocated is a feeling like no other.
With the support of our generous donors, foster carers and volunteers, we’ve rehomed over 250 cats and kittens since 2023.
That’s 250+ little lives made longer, happier and safer, off the streets and in warm, cosy forever homes.
But we’re not slowing down any time soon.
We’re in the process of renovating our facility, with the aim of turning it into a cat café and cattery, and ultimately setting up a vet surgery to offer low-cost desexing to locals.
Along with our last litter program, this will be our way of both giving back to the community and stemming the cat overpopulation problem in Victoria’s western suburbs.

Luxe is the sole survivor from her litter, and we weren’t sure she was going to make it. But she’s thriving now! She’d be perfectly suited to a single-cat household, so she can be treated like the queen she is.

Little Eavie came to us with her brother Espy as a shy baby, but she’s starting to come out of her shell and learn that people can be trusted. She’s even approaching for treats now! And did we mention she has the softest fur ever?

Espy’s been keeping his sister Eavie company in foster care, and helping her learn that life’s good when humans are waiting on you hand and paw! A sweet, playful boy, Espy would be the perfect kitty companion for any family.

Sweet former street cat Jack is as shy as he is beautiful (very). If you can convince him to sit still for a pat, his long fur is incredibly soft. He loves treats and will gently take them from your hand! With some 1:1 attention, we’re sure he’ll learn to trust and tap into his smooch potential.
SALLY

Sally’s a hissy little miss, and will run for the hills if you try to touch her - but she never goes to swipe or bite, so we know it’s all talk. She’s very food motivated and at dinner time, will meow non-stop until she’s fed - just part of her charm! Can you tame this hissy princess?
MAPLE

Maple takes a minute to get comfortable with new people, but once he gets to know you, his bubbly personality will really shine through. He’s sweet and playful, loves treats and will even curl up for a cuddle on your couch or bed. He’s come a long way since his start on the streets and we’re so proud of him!
We rely heavily on our foster carers to help us socialise shy or spicy adult cats and prepare them for their forever homes, as unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to spend meaningful 1:1 time with each of them.
Also, as we are a no-kill rescue and keep cats until they find their perfect family, we are often overloaded with surrendered or former stray adult cats at any given time. The more foster carers we are able to recruit, the more cats we can rescue.
As one of our foster carers, you are instrumental in saving these cats' lives.
(Not to mention, as we are a registered charity, any purchases (over $2) you make for your foster cat/s are tax-deductible.)
